Sunward connects travelers and hosts through skills. This page is the canonical process: profiles, Opportunities, applications, messaging, and what happens next — without repeating the full traveler or host guides.
Traveler-side steps
Create a Skill Profile, browse Opportunities, apply with a short note, and chat with the host until dates and expectations are clear. Then travel as agreed and leave feedback when prompted.

Host-side steps
Set up your space profile, publish an Opportunity with skills needed, hours, pricing, and lodging benefits (plus property practical info where relevant), review applicants, and accept the traveler who fits. Host the stay, then share feedback.

What happens after applying
Hosts may accept, decline, or ask questions. Nothing is confirmed until the application is accepted and both sides agree on dates and terms in the conversation. Do not book non-refundable transport before that clarity.
If plans change, say so early in the thread so the other person can adapt.
Messaging, acceptance, and next steps
Keep coordination in-app: arrival times, what to bring, emergency contacts the host is willing to share, and final confirmation. Acceptance should reference the Opportunity you both mean.
After the stay, reviews (when available) help the next traveler or host make a better choice.
Costs in one place
Many Opportunities include accommodation as a benefit on free exchanges, which helps with longer trips. Always check pricing (free, paid, or contribution) and benefits.
